A plausible alternate book because it not set in usual World war II or American Civil war. Eyeopening that some Indian historically owned slaves to ape the White man debunking innocent party myth.

I just could never get into it. If I read 30 pages and find myself looking around for a different book to read I know I'd best find one.

Another great story from Eric Flint. I really hope there is a continuation of this series. It would be interesting to see where his story takes the characters (real and created) in the future. "Set about 10 years after the events…
