I felt motivated to read a John Green book due to his actions in speaking out against censorship efforts implemented by a public library board in the Indianapolis area. As someone who is all too familiar with aspects of mental illnesses, I…

This one kept my attention and quickly got me invested in the characters who felt like real teens dealing with challenges as best they could. I liked that the story didn't leave the characters in a place where everything was perfect at the…

I don't want to ruin this book, by getting into specifics, if you haven't read it. Fair warning, it's gonna be hard. I loved this book. But, I'm not sure if I loved it for the reasons I should have loved it. Not for the mystery of the…

A pretty good book that talks a lot about teen mental health issues. If you are looking for a mystery like Paper Towns, you're not gonna get a great one. Easy read.

Wow! I was not expecting to love this book as much as I did. Oftentimes, YA doesn’t appeal to me as much as other writing styles, and I even more rarely really enjoy romantic subplots. My appreciation for the author as a person is what…

I seem to agree with most of the comments saying that the plot wasn’t that interesting and the book was more focused on the MC’s mental health struggles. For me, this isn’t really a book I’ll fondly look back on. For me- I think it’s the…

John’s Green’s Turtles All the Way Down is a young adult novel that sticks the landing. Featuring a protagonist who suffers from severe anxiety and OCD, the story starts out (at least to me) almost like a caricature of a John Green novel;…

I wanted to love this way more than I did. I'll give credit that Green really captures the main character's anxiety and OCD very well. I didn't care for the plot much. I don't have much to say. I finished the book. I didn't feel like it…

I very much enjoyed this book. This is my first time reading John Green and it won’t be my last. When you can relate to a character, it just makes you feel a part of the book. Her feelings are well written and seeing her from multiple…
