I like this version of the movie of Prince Caspian a lot more than the other Prince Caspian movie, because the characters are a lot more real and a lot of good scenes were added to, to make the movie more involved. In this version there is a relationship between Susan and Caspian, and there are a lot of impressive battle scenes. I think Miraz is very well done in this movie as well as his general. Caspian is a lot older in this one and I like the actors playing the four siblings a lot.

I think this is the best Narnia movie! I liked how it had more action than the first one.
Note: I don't mind romance, but the thing between Caspian and Susan was just so… contrived and out of the blue. I wish they had a sort of build up before just making them kiss at the end. A pity, really.
In the book, Caspian is largely a pawn, being fought over by the characters of the first book and the evil uncle/king of this book. Movie Caspian is distinct, being significantly older, cool, and with a bit of an attitude. He does more than his book counterpart, and that alone makes this movie better than the book. There are some significant action pieces, some witty humor, and the messages of growing up and passing on the torch remain, perhaps even more distinct. They even added some stuff that wasn't in the book, and honestly, I think the movie made the right call. It surprises me to say this, but this movie might be my single favorite Chronicles of Narnia media piece.
A highly enjoyable continuation of the Narnia movie remakes, with another gorgeous soundtrack. I loved the beautiful and colorful way that the novel was brought to life, and I even enjoyed most of the elements that were added to the story. I also loved the occasional little nuggets of humor folded into the dialogue, which gave me a smile without taking from the emotional depth of the story.
I love anything involving Narnia, so, I'm opinionated about this. First of all, this movie's storyline strays fairly far in points from the book's plot, however, this makes it interesting. A lot of the book is condensed to allow more time for the battle at the end. The Good: The actors are amazing; it's really fun to see them older. The costumes, props, scenery, etc is spot-on and really lends a lot to the atmosphere. At the end, the duel and the battle are both well done and suspenseful. Finally, there's Reepicheep. :)
The Not Quite So Good: Caspian's accent. It was distracting, plus it was different than any other Telmarine accent. The love story. Although it does yield one of the best lines, it is NOT in the book, and feels forced. The other problem I have is the rivalry between Caspian and Peter. I like them in the book, and they are portrayed as prideful and annoying here. :( Still, the movie was quite fun.
I didn't really enjoy this one as much as the first or third movies. Prince Caspian is full of action, and if you are into an action-packed movie, you will enjoy this. But I found the characters were drained and dumbed down from the book. I did not find them mature or grown up or.....anything. The romance was too forced for me. But at least they all did become friends toward the end and put aside their differences....but I definitely stick to the BBC version when it comes to this.
I watched the Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe first, and was hooked on the series. I watched Prince Caspian several times before I decided to get the book, wondering how similar it was to the movie. I have to admit, I liked the movie better than the book. The book is interesting, and is an enjoyable read, but the movie develops and portrays the characters more than the book. All in all, I think Prince Caspian is a well-made film, although some of the scenes may be a little intense for young kids. It is one of my favorite movies now. :)
This movie wasn't as good as the first one, but it is my dad's favorite of the newest three. The special effects are very good, and the battle scenes and music are epic. As with the other movies, the acting is very good, and Aslan is amazing as always (thank you, Liam Neeson!). Although not very much like the book in some aspects (anyone notice yet the Caspian should really be MUCH younger, as with the other children), it was great to continue the series.
Though its not like the book, I just love the way they developed the whole movie. I particularly liked that Aslan was quite a bit bigger than in the previous movie. The score and cast were great, too! I just loved Reepicheep!! Pretty good!
This movie is AWESOME. Wonderful and incredible and I loved it to pieces!!! Edmund Pevensie/Skandar Keynes is fineee looking :D
A must see!!
Hmm, not as crazy as I was for the first one, but it was all right nevertheless. If you are a STICKLER for the book, you might be disappointed.
Great movie! Must watch! Though be warned. If you love the book you mite be disappointed.
This is anything but the book. Not that I like the books either or anything.
This movie was even better than the first. I admitt, it didn't follow the book very well, but the actors are amazing. I was really surprised to find out that Ben Barnes is actually American. e did theaccent so well. Not for shildren under twelve
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is truly one of the best movies I've seen in a long time! This movie truly deserves the five star rating! Watching this movie was truly a beautiful and memorable experience for me. The story and cast were outstanding! I was also truly impressed with seeing Ben Barnes as the main character. His performance was unforgettable! I'll suggest this movie to anyone who is interested. If you're reading this review, I highly recommend you watch this movie.
Absolutely fabulous! The magic took me to Narnia again, this time with Prince Caspian. The children are maturing, and you can tell a little difference. Overall amazing. And Ben Barnes (who plays Caspian), was looking very fine (;
I was a little let down by this, the second film in the Chronicles of Narnia series. It was a little less mature and a bit more cartoony in it's action and storytelling. Still an above average fantasy film. Family friendly with top notch Disney production values. To me, just a bit less of a complete and compelling story as the first movie.
I thought this was a very good film but at one point it looked like a video game.
A great sequel to the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. A good story with some exciting battles too!
