HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read comments for love the one you're with. i threw this book down numerous times. the cold blatant writing like cheating is a joke is repugnant. i will no longer read her books. at the beginning they were good.…

I was disappointed in this novel. Was not a good read for me. Just finished reading this novel again and I did find it a lot more interested 2nd time around. I don't know why I didn't enjoy it the first time. May 25, 2018

A patron review from the Adult Summer Game: "This book dealt with some more serious subjects than some of Giffin's other novels. It was still a good read and interesting told from different character's points of view."

Probably my favourite Giffin book. The author does not shy away from tough subjects, and I really liked that not only did we hear of the affair from Valerie's side but also from Tessa's as well. It added much more dimension, and shows…

I usually love her books but I just couldn't like this one. The story line had a lot of plot holes. I felt that the affair came out of nowhere. Maybe if we could have seen it from the husband's point of view I would have felt different.…

A story about infidelity. Husband is to blame of course. But it shares the perspectives of the wife and the other woman. It takes love and sacrifice, from both the husband and wife to make it work. I found Tessa's chapters more…

People comparing Emily Giffin to a modern-day Jane Austen makes me cringe.

This was my favourite of Giffin's novels. I loved that the point of view varied between Tessa and Valerie. Both woman have Dr. Nick Russo in common yet the woman do not know one another. The book highlights there relationship with the…

I just finished this book today, been up reading it. Strangely enough, I enjoyed this. I enjoyed that it showed both women's perspectives, with all their flaws and hopes and dreams and ill thoughts, the wife and the "other" woman. I…

I really enjoyed this book! However, Emily Griffin ended this book leaving me exasperated and infuriated. She always seems to have the characters continue their lifestyle the way it was before even if they are unsatisfied and not content.…

HATED this book! I really didn't think there was an effective build up of the relationship of Valerie and the doctor....whatever his name was. Suddenly he "loves her" and is sleeping with her and I just felt that if she is really the…

Not one of my favourites by Emily Giffin, but still good. I love how she brought Dex & Rachel into the story.

A story of love & infidelity. Alternating chapters are written by each woman -the wife and the 'other' woman. As it is written through 2 perspectives, the reader is able to connect & really understand each character and the situation…

I didn't enjoy this book and pretty much stopped reading half-way through. However, curiosity got the best of me and I skimmed through the rest of the pages just to find out how the drivel ended. While I'm not really a fan of chick…

I love Emily Giffin's books and this was no exception. It is certainly different from her usual light hearted Borrowed/Blue books but no less captivating. This one is a more pensive novel as it puts the reader into Tessa's position…

I hated this book! I am HUGE fan of Something Borrowed, Something Blue and Baby Proof, but this novel didn't do it for me. I found the characters were wooden and stereotypical. It was such a disappointment as I was so looking forward to…

What can I say? I really, really enjoy Emily Giffin novels. I read this novel in one sitting last night. the book jacket says all you need to know - its a "love triangle" ... but unlike the "something borrowed" or the "love the one you're…
