I was never a fan of Wonder Woman, but this book was surprisingly refreshing. A hopeful message, but with plenty of dark tribulations and a sense of foreboding.

I really liked this take on Wonder Woman's story. I also really liked the update to her uniform!

Kind of a reboot before the reboot. In the first part, Wonder Woman's entire world has shifted radically, and her memories tampered with. She has to determine who or what is behind the fundamental changes to the world of the Amazons. Straczynski tends to go for epic scope but also character driven in his work. Most of the time he succeeds, as is the case here. He's backed up with good art all in all. Very different from what has come before for the character though.
