Despite the attempt to make it American (just the cash), this is definitely a Canadian flick. Not just because the house is just west of Horseshoe Bay, and The Penthouse" gets a few shots: the whole feel. Some good wit in the dialogue, and a rather sweet story, but the plot is pretty ragged. Maury Chaykin does a good job with a kind of musical Asperber's: Paul Gross is pretty much wasted.
