Add a CommentA young adult novel about a group of Amelia Earhart Cadets (Girls Scouts, for us Americans) who live in Thailand during the Vietnam War. They go on a weekend camping trip and get marooned on a different island than originally planned because of a horrific storm. The one adult with them ends up being a druggie loser who can't deal with anything. Things go downhill from there...
Survivor/disaster fiction - I eat this stuff up. This was a pretty good sample.
