Add a Comment"meh" just about sums up how I feel about this book.
It pulled me in and then in the last hundred pages it just dropped me. The dialogue became so unrealistic and I found myself just not caring anymore.
I wanted to like this book more than I did. It came close to being a very good creepy psychological thriller; but, while it seemed to take itself seriously in the build up, the last few chapters of the roller coaster ride felt more like a parody of the genre.
Very suspensful. Good if you liked the O.C.
I was really into this story right until the last 50 pages or so. Then the drama became boring and cliché when the main character’s setting changed. I felt like the author just summarized the ending, it reminded me of Velma highlighting the clues when solving a Scooby Doo Mystery. It’s not the first novel I’ve read where the author builds up the plot only to call it quits, and wrap it up. Now, I'm glad I didn't stay up late and lose sleep to finish the book the night before.
