In the world of martial arts, there is one man above all: Bruce Lee. Set against the backdrop of 1960s San Francisco, Lee (Phillip Ng) was young, hungry, and looking for an opportunity to make a name for himself. That opportunity came when the legendary Shaolin monk, Wong Jack Man (Xia Yu) came into town to observe the state of kung fu in America. Lee challenges Wong to a fight, one that would change the history of martial arts forever.

I'm sure this is strictly fiction but the fight scenes were awesome!!! The movie made Bruce Lee appear to be arrogant and obnoxious. From what I've read about him, and interviews with those who knew him, he was a very humble man.

Not what you want it to be. Good fight scenes, but the story is more contrived than a Disney sports movie. The silliness and bad acting by the white actor in the lead role crush this “true” story’s integrity. Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story from the 90s is a flawed, but superior movie to this. Avoid if you are a Bruce Lee fan.

It's about master Lee, so it's all good.

Have no idea whether or not this movie is any good, but I did stumble on this vintage exhibition of Bruce Lee:
