Mitchie Torres is a teen with an amazing voice and a driving ambition to be a pop singer. All she wants is to spend her summer at a prestigious music camp. The camp is expensive, but her mom gets a job as one of Camp Rock's cooks so that Mitchie can attend as long as she helps out in the kitchen between classes. Befriended by fellow camp member Caitlyn, but intimidated by the immensely talented Tess Tyler and her friends, Peggy and Ella, Mitchie lives a double life in order to become part of the hottest clique at camp. She's overheard singing by Shane Gray, a teen pop star and celebrity camp instructor. He is completely taken and sets out to find the girl behind the beautiful voice. Meanwhile, Mitchie will have to learn how to confront her fears, step out of the kitchen and into the spotlight as herself.

Camp Rock is one of my favourite Disney movies that contained human actors. I liked this movie for several reasons. Mitchy, the new girl at Camp Rock is finally excited to begin her new life that revolves around music and singing. When she becomes used to the new atmosphere at Camp Rock, she realizes that the camps is not what is completely seems to be. Filled with rich people, famous rockstars, and lots of kitchen duty, Mitchy comes to the conclusion that everything isn't always so perfect! I lied this movie because I am a fan of the young Demi Lavato, and she was a really talented actress when she was a teenager. I would recommend this movie to people who like drama-comedies. I would rate this movie a 4/5.

Camp Rock is an awesome teen movie featuring famous and talented stars such as Demi Lovato, The Jonas Brothers, Alyson Stoner, Meaghan Martin, and so much more. This is a really cute, funny, and dramatic movie filled with amazing songs from the entire cast. The songs are really catchy and fun to sing along to. They are also really meaningful, like Mitchie’s song “This Is Me.” I love the way that Mitchie comes out of her shell and shows everyone that she is not ashamed to be who she is. It will inspire many teens who watch this film. Rating 4 out of 5 stars.
