Where did we come from, when did it start? and Where are we going? Edmund Kirsch is a billionare computer scientist, inventor, entrepreneur, and futurist who plans to announce to the world his astonishing discovery that will change how people will view science and religion. As a famous maverick and well known athiest who thrives on attention, he boldly announces that he can now answer the most fundamental questions of how life began and what is the future. Before his dramatic presentation to the world arena, he seeks an ultra-secret meeting to reveal his discovery to three of the most preeminent religious leaders. In a remote and isolated location a Catholic Bishop, a Jewish Rabbi, and a Islamic mullah agrees to hear what he has to reveal with their promise to keep it secret from anyone else. Of course, you know how that turns out. Something of such magnitude cannot stay hidden and there are those who want to make it is never shared with the world. Thus begins adventure, murder, and suspense building to a stunning conclusion typical of Dan Brown novels.
I love the characters, especially Professor Robert Langdon and Ambra Vidal who is engaged to the Prince (and soon to be King) of Spain. The story revolves around Kirsch's former Harvard Professor, Robert Langdon and Ambra Vidal who is engaged to the Prince of Spain. Brown delivers another edge of your seat drama that keeps you guessing until the end.

"Well, the meek were supposed to inherit the earth, but instead it has gone to young- the technically inclined, those who stare into video screens rather than into their own souls."

I found this book to be both enjoyable and thought provoking! Despite the many characters involved, the plot was easy to follow, suspenseful, and included twists along the way. I highly recommend this book!

Danno hit a home run with TDVC, but lack luster follow ups. Origin does not hold the magic and his same ol, same ol script has gotten boring. A yawner . All filler and no thriller

Good page turner. Finished it in one day. A variation on a theme. Langdon is being pursued by bad guys again with a lady in tow. A big secret will be revealed. Not deep but enjoyable. I was fortunate to get an Express copy of this book otherwise I was # 143 in line.
