Run Fast. Eat Slow
Nourishing Recipes for Athletes
Book - 2016
From world-class marathoner and 3-time Olympian Shalane Flanagan and culinary nutritionist Elyse Kopecky comes a whole foods, flavor-forward cookbook that proves food can be indulgent and nourishing at the same time. Here is a cookbook for runners that shows fat is essential for flavor and performance and that counting calories, obsessing over protein, and restrictive dieting does more harm than good.

Great recipes for novice/expert runners if you're struggling with nutrition.
this athlete doesn't give up she has sportsmanship.
Great recipes.
Everything I've made out of this cookbook has been delicious, even when it seems like it shouldn't be. Fig Jam Cookies, made with whole-wheat flour, almond flour, tahini, sesame seeds, and coconut oil? Delicious! Moroccan Lentil Salad made with carrots, apricots, and olives? Delicious! Highly recommended.
Great mix of recipes that focus on nutrition and performance over weight loss or light versions of recipes. Most recipes use easily accessible ingredients and simple cooking techniques.
