As Eve Dallas puzzles over a homicide that seems carefully planned and yet oddly personal, she receives a tip from an unexpected source: an author of police thrillers who recognizes the crime - from the pages of her own book.
Another great Eve Dallas book good plot, like the investigative process. Did not have a great deal on Roarke and Eve relationship I think this could be expanded upon. Look forward to the next book.
I keep coming back even though I feel the plot line and characters have run their course. The author is beyond prolific and still seems to find new plot ideas. I do wish the character would grow a lot more. Roarke need to be more involved and this series needs to move out of NYC and push the limits a bit.
I have been reading this series since the beginning and still can say I love it. This book did not disappoint me either. Dallas has to try to stop a murderer who is trying to rewrite a book series by reenacting the murders in the book. The cops at Cop Central all have their jobs to do to try to stop any more murders. Lots of humor and witty remarks by Dallas so I had to laugh a few times. I can't wait for the next book in this series.
