I have to say I didn't enjoy the first 120 pages or so at all!! I was so disappointed up to that point, but it got better (or maybe just the emotion hit me)....I cried quite a lot, but does that make me like a book? I'm not sure how I feel. I certainly didn't like it as much as the first one. I wish I would have re-read The Five People You Meet in Heaven before starting this one so I could remember it all. That one is one of my all time favourite books. So, kind of on the fence...
I read the entirety of The Next Person you Meet in Heaven in one evening. It wasn’t too easy. It was just so good.
The Five People You Meet in Heaven is one of my favourite books of all time, so of course I picked this one up right away. The themes may seem a bit daunting, but it is anything but dark. It is a beautiful story of intertwining lives and unseen consequences. This sequel is a little more obvious in its choices of the people met in heaven, and is clearly meant to tug on the heartstrings. My advice? Just let it. Let it pull you in. Let it make you cry. Then recover, and let the whole process start all over again.
Normally I don’t go for obvious books. But this one is obvious in a beautiful way.

Amazing author and a fantastic sequel to his previous book! It's hard not to love what he writes and the life lessons he teaches us through his stories.
Nice story. An easy read.
