However, is a little lacking in real world replacements other than the author's experience with his own child. And, too many "shoulds" and "oughts" for my taste. But I did garner some insight on dealing with children in what I perceive as a more positive manner.
The best parenting book I have ever read.

This is one of the best parenting books I have read. It is now in my home library and I am reading it for the second time.
The best parenting guide I've read. Kohn advises parents treat children with empathy, moving beyond punishments and rewards.
