This inspiring picture book retells the story of Nobel Peace Prize nominee Greta Thunberg--the Swedish teenager who has led a global movement to raise awareness about the world's climate crisis--using allegory to make this important topic accessible to young children.

Greta is a little girl who lives in a beautiful forest threatened by Giants. When the Giants first came to the forest, they chopped down trees to make houses. Then they chopped down more trees and made even bigger homes. The houses grew into towns and the towns grew into cities, until now there is hardly any forest left. Greta knows she has to help the animals who live in the forest, but how? Luckily, Greta has an idea...

A section at the back explains that, in reality, the fight against the "giants" isn't over and explains how you can help Greta in her fight .

Much like the Lorax before her, Greta has taken on the role of speaking for the trees and animals of the forest when the greedy Giants have gone too far. Unlike the tragic tale of the Lorax, however, Greta's story ends on a much happier note thanks to those who joined her protest and helped convince the Giants to change their ways.

A wonderful picture book story with beautiful, colourful illustrations inspired by real-life climate change activist, Greta Thunberg. In this story, Greta advocates for the forest and all of its animals who are losing their habitats to the Giants (people) who are cutting down all the trees to build cities. Greta's motto is that "no one is too small to make a difference", so the community and the animals of the forest joined together to protest on behalf of their forest and the world. What's even better is that this book is made out of recycled paper!
