William Warwick and his team have been reassigned to the Drugs Squad. They are immediately tasked with apprehending Ahmed Rashedi, a notorious drug dealer, who operates his extensive network out of South London. As William's team closes the net around a criminal network like none they have ever faced before, he devises a trap they would never expect, one that is hidden in plain sight.
I am a Jeffrey Archer fan. HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT is the 2nd novel in his Detective William Warwick series. He left us hanging in the 1st and picked up where he left off in this one. If you want to read this one, I highly recommend you read the 1st if you haven't - otherwise you will take awhile to catch on to the characters and plot. That said, the book was a good read and I enjoyed it. I try not to do spoilers, so won't give anything away here. I do think you need to really like novels set in modern England and their law enforcement / legal system to get the most out of this book. They do use some slang terms probably not familiar to most Americans, so you have to be ready to figure those out. Outside of that, the plot is strong, the characters are well developed and the action is entertaining. Enjoy. PS - he leaves us hanging in this one. Hope he doesn't take too long to get the next one out.

Add a Comment2nd book in the Wm. Warwick series. Fairly good read, but not a stand alone. I do detest Booth Watson.
