A heartwarming father-son story set in glorious Tuscany about bohemian London artist Robert, who returns to Italy with his estranged son Jack to make a quick sale of the house they inherited from his late wife. Neither expects to find the once beautiful villa in such a state of disrepair. Renovations go badly, with father and son soon finding themselves at odds. Robert's comical lack of DIY experience leads him to seek help from some colorful locals.

This was not very good acting. If felt forced. The story never really got going. Yes the scenery was great but the movie was not.

I loved this film. The scenery was so beautiful and calming. Although as father and son unintentionally work through their broken relationship there is some resentment, anger, and sadness, most of the film is simply pleasant. I highly recommend it; however, if you are looking for a fast paced or action packed film, this will likely not be the right one for you.

Too much bickering with father & son .Neeson did not look good with that scraggily beard.

A young man in London finds himself battling with his soon-to-be-ex-wife over the future of the art gallery they have been running together. Desperate to find the money to buy her out, he reluctantly makes contact with his estranged father, to try and sell their neglected family home in Italy. As the father and son work to repair the house, they begin to repair their relationship as well. A nice mix of humor and drama, and beautiful shots of Italy.

Enjoyed the beautiful Tuscan scenery and the movie overall. Very predictable but the acting between real father and son makes it interesting. The whole time I was watching, however, kept thinking about the actors's real life experience losing a wife/mother (Natasha Richardson). The bonus part explores this with the actors.
