I'm not a huge fan of Disney musicals but my wife wanted to see it. I have to say, I quite enjoyed it.

God I wanted to love this movie but no ~ Emma Watson is truly a fairytale beauty but it felt forced. Watch the animated version again. kids may like it but it was not romantic at all >> are these the same songs as the original ?? i couldnt tell. It had very little life in it . Too bad should have been epic but is barely watchable.

Truly a masterpiece and my all-time favourite. Wish I had seen it in the theatre.

Though it may not quite compare to the animated original, the live-action version is lush, well cast, beautiful to look at, answers quite a few questions and plot holes that the animated version had and adds a few more tunes. Really can't go wrong!

I had no idea if I would like this remake or not since I had heard reviews from friends on both ends of the spectrum. I loved it! I was suprised how much I liked Emma Watson as Belle. I thought the special effects were spectacular. I loved the story of Belle's mother added to this remake. I thought it gave the relationship between Belle and the Beast some real foundation, which is often lacking in princess movies. The wolves always scared me as a small child and the real life version makes it even scarier. Maybe not a great choice for the younger Beauty and the Beast fans. Overall, I thought it was a great remake and can't wait til the next one!

Didn't realize there was so much singing. Not really for me.

Not as charismatic as the original, but still a good watch!

Animated version is far better since some of the things can't be translated well to live action. This movie also included a lot of needless backstory, songs and general fluff that to me felt like they were added for time.

I was really surprised on the movie. I can say out of the two live versions of a Disney movie, this one was better. I liked Belle but she didn't really portray the Belle character with emotions and what not but she did good. I loved the fact that the movie actually did basically everything the original did. They did the songs and even most of the lines in the movie as well. I wouldn't buy the movie or watch it over and over like the Disney classic but it was good though.
