This was the first Dahl book I read after learning about him from a TV program. It is a short story with a heart-warming, ingenious & hilarious plot. And a happy ending! Looking forward to reading more Dahl books.

I really enjoy reading Roald Dahl books. His books are very detailed and entertaining. Esio Trot is a wonderful book. Although, taking someones pet and replacing it to get them to marry you does seem a little extensive. besides that, I really thought this was a very interesting and cute book.

I'm a fan of all Roald Dahl books. Super creative and entertaining. 62 pages, so a very quick read both aloud and alone. Esio Trot is a love story about two people and a tortoise. "After all, everyone knows the way to a woman't heart is through her tortoise."

This is probably the cutest Dahl book out there. Do yourself a favor and read this to your little ones.

Esio Trot is unlike any book I have ever read before. I really enjoyed how imaginative and different this book is. Once again, Roald Dahl has transported many readers into another world where anything can happen.
