"He hears the silence. He sees the darkness. He's the only one who can stop the killing."-from the release poster
Chuck Norris movies can be roughly divided into three categories: 1. martial arts focused ("The Octagon") 2. military ("Delta Force") 3. cops ("Code of Silence")
In 1979's "A Force of One," Norris is a martial arts expert who helps the cops fight drug dealers, one of whom may be in their midst. . .A roundhouse kick to the face will fix his wagon! This is competent, b-action moviemaking that will please fans of such things. Ron O'Neal ("Superfly") co-stars and Ernest Tidyman, who wrote "The French Connection," worked on the screenplay. If they had a sequel, it could've been called "A Force of One Two."
