From Library Staff
Written in the form of letters (a lost art), this novel by an aunt-and-niece team has loads of charm and is an almost theatrical experience with a plethora of enthusiastic performances.

"Men are more interesting in books than they are in real life." - Isola Pribby
“I wonder how the book got to Guernsey? Perhaps there is some secret sort of homing instinct in books that brings them to their perfect readers.”
