This is a great book to read in the Fall. I read this in my preschool storytimes, we had fun looking for the pictures made out of leaves. This is great for the kiddos to use their imaginations.

Beautiful book but it did not hold the interest of my preschooler.

Lois Ehlert does amazing work and this is no exception. It is a fall favorite for preschoolers-kindergarten. Go out and collect some leaves then share this book and create your own leaf man!

The children loved this book. They enjoyed "blowing" the pages when it was time to turn the page and they each created their own leaf art (using colored copied leaves) as a follow-up. Beautifully illustrated!

What a beautiful, beautiful book! Not only does it teach little ones about leaves and the fall season, it also demonstrates how to make pictures out of various shapes. I highly recommend it!
