So she's had to learn how to make the most of every minute of the day! In 100 Ways to Simplify Your Life , Joyce shares the most effective secrets she's learned over the years for making the most of each minute of the day. I’m an atheist and I didn't get a ton from this. It reads more of a sermon and felt dogmatic to me, nor did I connect to anything that the author was saying. There were some things that I learned, but in general, I'd say I tolerated this book more than I enjoyed it. I don't know why I kept reading this, when it annoyed me so much. Not that the tips are atrocious, they aren't. It just didn't wind up being what I thought it might be.

I found the narrator's voice and mispronunciations annoying, there were times where it felt like a string of bible citations. I expected some of that, but there were places where it was excessive. And with a list of 100, there are a fair number of times when the advice is contradictory (take care of things right away/don't jump at every little task), repetitive, or glaringly obvious. Yet I didn't have any exposure to Joyce Meyer before and she'd been recommended to me and this gave me a reasonable idea of who she is and what she does. And it wasn't bad. Identifiable, quick tips, and falls in the useful category.

Also I feel most of the rating on this book in fabricated for some reason.

Practical advice with the Word mixed in. Loved it! You can't go wrong with reading about how you can use the Word to positively impact your life. Her books and her shows have truly been an integral part of my daily life style transformation.

I was not expecting a book about how religion can be used to simplify life when I borrowed this book. I made it through the first four chapters and lost interest in this woman's journey to a simple life.

This book is more about bible studies than simplifying life.

Everything in this book is only common sense. Not a single new idea! It's done in a "preachy" manner as well. Not a good reading experience.
