(*Lyrics excerpt*) - "You can't stop us on the road to freedom.... You can't stop us 'cause our eyes can see.... She's as sweet as Tupelo honey.... Just like the honey, baby, from the bee."

Released in 1971 (as a follow-up to 1970's "Moondance") - "Tupelo Honey" would be the 5th studio album from Irish singer/songwriter/instrumentalist, Van Morrison (birth-name - George Ivan Morrison) who has often been called "Van the Man".

The 9 tracks on this CD are a pleasant-sounding mix where Morrison skillfully combined several musical genres together, which included folk, rock, jazz, and country.

Two of my favourite tunes are - "Wild Night" and, of course, the title track, "Tupelo Honey".
