Very slow plot. Apparently it is part of a series, and there are characters who pop up now and then, seemingly without purpose, so I assume they are from another book in the series. I am finally up to the "big climax," and haven't been interested enough to go back to the story for a week. I will probably just turn it back in unfinished, but you never know. Maybe I will slog through it.
