An awesome book that not only teaches acceptance of others who may look or sound different than us, but also how to empathize with and reach out to them. I highly recommend for children ages 4 and up. Although the subject matter is appropriate for all ages, it is written in a style that is likely more advanced than a toddler may understand.

A wonderful, serious story. Teaches about acceptance not judging people by the way they look. Wonderful illustrations... helps kids figure out what's going to happen from the pictures. My 4-year olds loved it.
