Not sure why I missed this originally, but very glad I watched it. (there are no Borg, btw) I kept wondering why the makeup artists didn't just fix the actor to look like Picard rather than trying to explain why a clone would look nothing like its progenitor. That said, it is still probably my favorite of the ST movies.
Captain Picard and his intrepid crew face their final and most challenging nemesis in this excellent blockbuster!
Romulans, Remans, androids, and more!
It's a decent Star Trek movie, but not full of cliches. And force fields keeps the oxygen from vacuuming into space (see other review). If you like Star Trek (ie the series) then you'll like this movie. If you don't, then this movie isn't for you.
The film is full of cliches. There are talking scenes, then action scenes with lots of shooting, but only Captain Picard is accurate. Enterprise is badly damaged, yet it never lacks oxygen for the crew. Corny.
A middling effort. Tom Hardy was good, I suppose, but the plot was quite contrived and nostalgia-heavy.
