This isn’t really a movie as some may think. It comprises of short animated films that explore different stories. Each film is made by different studios, which is why there is often a disparity in the quality and style of different episodes in the compilation. In fact, I would think that the reason it is called “Legends” is because it is telling different tales, which is a synonym for “legends”. My favourite episode was probably the last one, called “The Package”. It’s a short piece about Spartan 117, commonly known as the Master Chief, and his comrades on a mission. It is brilliantly animated and the combat is simply amazing.

It was O.K for a home TV movie. I was entertained and interesting. But it was NOT worth the long library wait or the price to rent from a Red Box. "I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.”

Spartan 1337 was so like Dragonball Z for a second or two. xD LOVED IT!!

Well done. I thought at first it was going to be horrible but it turned out great.

Interesting... but could have been better (cough) the episode with the Arbiter and the one with the experimental Brute was a gag episode(animated by the people who did FMA) but otherwise it was very well done. Last episode was the best episode besides the ODST one.

7 stories following characters we know and love and brand new characters with great art styles.

7 stories with a look into the halo universe in 8 short animated episodes. Most of them are anime, but one of them is watercolor paints, and another is CGI.

The episodes are:
Origins Part I
Origins Part 2
Homecoming
The Duel
The Package
Prototype
The Babysitter
Odd One Out

Though these were very well done short films, which I thoroughly enjoyed, some points of the storyline did not line up with the Halo games. Also some physical appearances, and the way certain things work did not line up either. These were small things, but they seemed large to me, as I have been playing the Halo games for a while. E.g. In "The Duel" Elites had a regular mouth, even though they are supposed to have four mandibles for a mouth. E.g. Also in "The Duel" Covenant "Wraith" tanks shot repeated Plasma blasts, even though it actually takes a while for it to recharge for another shot.
