On the one hand, pretty much what you'd expect from NPH: charming, simultaneously self-serving and self-deprecating, and full of gossipy details about the interweaving worlds of theatre, television, movies, and magic! On the other hand, he really does bare all re: his journey of self-acceptance to living as an openly gay man and father of twins, a part of the story that is given equal weight to all the show biz stuff. Lastly, having the book adapted and read by the author/subject really helps, though all the "guest" voices (Seth McFarlane, Penn Gillette, Starah Silverman, etc.) are done by a dry British cap, which is kind of off-putting.
