I enjoyed this novel by an author who rarely lets me down. In The Fall, he effectively uses the technique of Dismas Hardy's daughter, a new lawyer, to show the kinds of issues a criminal defence lawyer can face, including frustrations of not being able to bring certain important information to the jury. The twist at the end wasn't particularly a surprise, but it ended the story in a satisfying way.
