This the second book in the author's "Stay" series. While it is slightly better than The Start of Something Good, it was a stretch to call it a sequel. Yes, Ethan and Mia are in the cottage which doesn't seem to be the same cottage. Yes, Harper is still in the barn, but it too doesn't seem to be the same barn. Yes, Ophelia is running the inn which certainly doesn't seem like the same place either. The book is a raw account of the DNA of alcoholism and child abuse as well as the foregiveness essential to second chances. It candidly addresses the intimacy issues most survivors of child abuse experience. Yet, there were also a myriad of plot lines which are developed but not completed.
