the Book That Changed the World

A well-produced film specially that it is made in conjunction with the 400th anniversary of its subject, the KJV of the Bible. However, it is more of about the life of the King James VI and the history taking place in England and Scotland during his life than the making of the Bible's version itself. There's so much footage devoted to his early life than into the birthing as well as to possibly perhaps the problems encountered, the drama that unfolded in the chamber where these translators where trying to devise the best possible way to make the best translation into contemporary English from the Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic sources. And that's the drawback to a documentary that would have been fitting as a tribute to its four centuries of existence.
