This is an alternate history book about world war two; the premise is what would happen if females fought alongside males. I enjoyed the setting and characters. This entire book felt very vivid, and once it got started it was a great page-turner. It is told through three different perspecitves, which felt jarring occasionally when they would forget about one of the narrators for about 75 pages. The only error, as far as I could tell, was the use of the word "hack" in a way that wasn't consistent with the time when it took place. See this new yorker article for more on "hack": http://www.newyorker.com/tech/elements/a-short-history-of-hack
